Make The Most Of Your Online Workouts

So, you’ve made a goal to workout more this year, but you also don’t always feel like or have the time in your schedule to leave the house. Luckily, online workouts can help you achieve the same results that you’d get from a gym right from the comfort of your own home. Whether you decide to hire a trainer to coach you on Zoom, follow along to YouTube videos or download a fitness app - let’s find out exactly how you can get the most from the now abundant array of digital exercise options.

First thing’s first, choose the online workout that ticks all the boxes for you, including deciding which trainer or business you’re going to use. Unfortunately, “being fit” doesn’t necessarily mean that someone can safely create a fitness regime for you, so make sure to follow someone who actually has the proper training experience, not just a lot of social media influence.

At the same time, we suggest finding a routine that you can do consistently. Not every workout will work for every person; if the thought of running makes you want to crawl back into bed instead of get out, then it’s probably not for you. Similarly if you are just starting out in your fitness journey, don’t try to set your goals too high, rather find something that caters to your level until you’ve built up the capability to progress. At Sudor, our trainer’s offer a multitude of on-demand video content as well as challenges and programs catering to all different fitness levels, enabling almost anyone to sign up and join along.

Question is - can you actually get the same results from online videos that you would at the gym? The answer is the same for pretty much anything in life, the results you get depend on your efforts. The most difficult part about working out at home, is the lack of accountability. Only you will know if you quit the class halfway through to go sit on your couch instead. To remedy this, try looking for brands that provide a community if they aren’t offering a one-on-one coaching approach. At Sudor, our community function is at the heart of all our apps, allowing not only our trainers and their subscribers to build closer, more personal relationships; but allowing clients to support, motivate and hold one another accountable too.
